Greenlee Introduces New Steel-Plated Fish Tape Wire
Greenlee introduced Kwik SilverT steel-plated fish tape wire, designed with a corrosion resistant and smooth plated process that makes it faster and easier to fish wire and cable in residential, commercial and industrial applications. Kwik SilverT steel-plated fish tape wire is used in Greenlee 438-5, 438-10 and 438-20 steel fish tapes.
The new Kwik SilverT steel-plated fish tape wire is housed in a high-impact nylon case that has a one-piece handle for maximum durability, long life and easy comfortable use. The large handle offers greater control while the self-tensioning case makes for easy tape winding.

Brady introduced its IDXPERT TM handheld labeler, specifically designed to meet the identification needs of electrical, voice/data, maintenance and safety professionals. The IDXPERT TM comes in two printer styles, and offers users over 100 ways to wrap, flag, sleeve, overlaminate or otherwise label their work. Greenlee recently introduced its new SlugBusterT SC Self-Centering knockout punch, the fastest and easiest tool for punching holes that are perfectly centered with the pilot hole in metal. The new self-centering feature will make centering the hole around a pilot hole more convenient for electricians and panel builders and allow them to save time and money by reducing rework and scrap.
The SlugBuster SC Self-Centering knockout punches have the slug splitting benefits of Greenlee's standard slug-buster punches. The new additional chamfer on the cutting edge of the punch forces the punch to center itself on the pilot hole. This prevents the punch from slipping off center and ensures an accurate location.
The SlugBuster SC Self-Centering knockout punch eliminates the time of drawing crosshairs on panel layouts and eliminates the difficulty of using die alignment marks especially in poor lighting and visibility conditions. This will benefit panel builders because of their need for accurately placed holes for mounting controls and indicators on panels.
The SlugBuster SC Self-Centering knockouts will work with all Greenlee punch drivers. The standard draw stud and die can also be used for replacement parts with the new self-centering punches.

Exaktime, Inc., a Woodland Hills, California based company, has introduced the Jobclock, a hardware and software package that allows remote job time and attendance tracking utilizing Keytabs, a Palm Pilot and the latest PC technology.
The heart of the Jobclock system is a small, construction grade timeclock that can be affixed and left at the job site. Because it is weatherproof, tamper-proof and battery powered, it is entirely self-contained. Employees clock IN and OUT with Keytabs designed to be carried on their keychains. The supervisor can come to the job site any time of the day or week and download the attendance records via the Infrared strobe built into the Jobclock and a Palm Pilot. Right on the job site they can see who has touched in, who was late, who was early and who should be there any time of the day. Once back at the office, the time records can be automatically transferred into the Jobclock software in a PC that can generate printed reports for any employee, crew or job site.
Greenlee's Multi-Function Electrical Testers are Industry's First Category IV 1000 Volt Rated
Greenlee's GT-540 multifunction electrical testers are the industry's first to attain a safety category rating of Category IV 1000V. The GT-540 was independently tested according to UL 61010B-1 and IEC 61010-1. The GT-540 features auto selection mode that allows the electrician to measure AC/DC voltage in low impedance mode, resistance and continuity. These testers are designed to provide the electrician with the ultimate in safety, performance and comfort in commercial, industrial, utility and residential applications.
The GT-540 provides additional measurement capabilities such as low impedance and high impedance AC/DC voltage, capacitance, diode checks and low-ohms fast continuity mode. Pass & Seymore/Legrand (P&S) recently announced the introduction of its new P&S Intercom system, which combines outstanding features with enhanced style, affordability and ease of installation with a Category 5 based wiring system.

Doors and Caps for Roof-Top Tube Storage Systems
U.S. Tube Doors, Inc. has recently introduced a new line of products to address the shortcomings of the plugs. Their utility tube doors, caps and kits provide ease of access and a padlock tab for security. The doors are available in either PVC or Die-Cast Aluminum and feature superior design. Both doors feature an easy-to-install PVC ring that bonds to Schedule 40 pipe with conventional PVC primer and cement. Since these doors take advantage of total PVC bonding there is no drilling or protruding bolts. The stainless spring lock handle takes the load instead of the cotter pins. All stainless components prevent rusting and prolong assembly life. The doors can be mounted at 360 degrees and the design provides for either left or right spring closure opening. Complete kits, which include doors, end cap and mounting hardware, are available for either PVC or Aluminum doors.

PowerSentinel service offers flexible options for power monitoring using any available communications connection (Ethernet, phone line or cellular modem) in conjunction with MGE's new built-in web server capability, a connected computer or even dry contacts. Available to any customer with an MGE service contract, the new service is an upgrade to their existing Teleservices program. Existing installations can be easily configured in the field to work with the enhanced PowerSentinel capabilities.
