CLS Opens New Facility in Westwood, Massachusetts Increasing Presence in Greater Boston Area
CLS, New England’s largest independent electrical distributor, recently announced the grand opening of its new, 100,000-square-foot headquarters in Westwood, Massachusetts. The Westwood facility is located at 165 University Avenue, and will service the greater Boston area, including the towns of Cambridge, Chelsea, Dedham, Malden, Medford, Milton, Quincy, Revere, Somerville, Watertown, and Winthrop, Massachusetts.

Cody Appointed Lighting Controls Sales Specialist for Southeastern Region
Leviton is pleased to announce the appointment of James Cody to the position of Regional Lighting Controls Sales Specialist. In his new post Cody will work to build sales of the company’s box-mounted lighting controls and architectural and theatrical control systems in the greater Atlanta, North Georgia, Charlotte, North Carolina and South Carolina territories.
Cody arrives at Leviton with a formidable background in lighting applications and solutions, along with an extensive experience in marketing and selling electrical control products. He has held positions with Cooper Industries’ Lighting Division, where he spearheaded market development and technical training programs and was charged with a wide variety of product and project management responsibilities. He also worked as a lighting sales manager for WESCO Distribution, where he made significant contributions to the company’s sales growth and managed projects throughout Northern Ohio.

Milbank ® Announces New C.O.O. 
Milbank Manufacturing Co. has announced that Lavon R. Winkler has taken the helm as Chief Operating Officer for the company. Before joining Milbank, Winkler spent 22 years at Butler Manufacturing in Kansas City, beginning as a Design Engineer and progressing through various management positions including Regional Manager-Sales and Distribution, Vice President of Engineering and Builder Services-Building Division, President-Innovative Building Technology, and President-Butler Roof Division. Most recently, Winkler was President and C.O.O. of Mid-America Manufacturing Technology Center, a service organization that helps small and mid-sized manufacturing companies increase sales and productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Lavon’s educational background includes an MA in Public and Private Management from Birmingham-Southern College and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri.
He and his wife Lisa live in Gladstone, MO; have two children; and are awaiting the arrival of two grandchildren.

Fodor Appointed Marketing Director for Leviton’s Electrical Distribution Division
Leviton Manufacturing is pleased to announce the appointment of William Fodor to the position of Director of Marketing for its Electrical Distribution Division. In his new post, Fodor will assume stewardship over the development of strategic marketing initiatives for the company’s Electrical Distribution Division. He will focus on creating marketing, advertising, merchandising, promotional, customer loyalty and in-house and distributor sales training programs.
Fodor joined Leviton in 2000 as a product manager in the company’s OEM Division and has been instrumental in implementing market penetration, product introduction, inventory management and sales and customer training programs.
Prior to joining Leviton, Fodor worked as a product line and sales manager for a manufacturer of sheet metal supplies and equipment, a division manager for a national retail chain and as an architectural draftsman. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology and a master’s degree in Management of Technology. Fodor is the recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship award for his commitment to humanitarian work. He also is the Race Director and founder of the Little Cow Harbor 4-Mile Run which raises funds for the Guide Dog Foundation and Vacation Camp for the Blind and an avid runner.
