PGL PRODUCTS

 Isolated Power Systems

Medical and nursing sciences are becoming progressively more dependent on electrical apparatus for the preservation of life. Isolated Power Systems mitigate the hazard of shock or burn from electric current flowing through the body to ground.

The advantages of an Isolated Power System are the reduced shock hazard, maintaining continuity of power for life support equipment, noise reduction for sensitive equipment and advanced warning of equipment failure. All of these benefits can be found in the wide variety of systems from PGL .

IDP Power Panels

The IDP Isolated Power Panel contains all the basic elements of an isolated power system: shielded isolation transformer, line isolation monitor, circuit breaker panel and ground bus.

IDC Power Panels

The IDC Isolated Power Center provides receptacles and ground jacks for intensive care and coronary care units. This panel is also used in the cardiac catheterization labs, emergency rooms, critical care and recovery areas, in addition to anesthetizing locations.

Dual Voltage Isolated Power Panels

The Dual Voltage Power Panel is a single panel with one transformer and two different ungrounded output voltages. Each secondary winding has its own load center and Line Isolation Monitor.

Duplex Isolated Power Panels

The Duplex Isolated Power Panel is a single enclosure containing two complete hospital isolation systems. A divider in the unit’s backbox separates the systems. Each Duplex panel has two primary circuit breakers, two isolation transformers, two reference ground bus bars, two line isolation monitors and two load centers.

Laser and X-Ray Isolated Power Panels

The Plug Control Laser or X-Ray Isolated Power System with “lockout” ensures safety and eliminates scheduling problems. The panel can serve up to 12 locations without lockout and up to 8 with the lockout feature.

Surgical Facility Panels

The Surgical Facility Panel is a multi-functional panel that incorporates many of the standard facilities required in an operating room. This includes the IDC Isolated Power Panel, Digital Clock/Timer, X-Ray Film Viewer or Dry Erase Board and a Stereo System including cassette/CD player and changer.

Line Isolation Monitors

The Mark IV LIM is powered by a microprocessor chip. It allows for a number of improved performance features, ensures detailed accuracy, and provides your operating rooms with the most reliable power monitoring system. The Mark IV is self-testing and self-calibrating. It has both analog and digital readouts. Pre-designed retrofit kits are available for replacing and upgrading over 20 other manufacturers.

Isolated Power Accessories

PGL offers a complete line of power and ground modules and ground cord assemblies to complete your isolated power system. By combining patient ground point and power receptacles serving the same location into a common module, installation savings and staff accessibility are increased.

Patient Service Consoles

The PSC is a functional wall-mounted patient service care system with gas outlets, slide bottle brackets, receptacles, switches, telephone, monitor outlets, nurse call and code blue. A PSC makes an excellent unit for new and remodeling projects. It saves time and money over the full headwall module. This console can be used in any area of the hospital such as General Patient, Intensive Care, Critical Care, Recovery, Emergency and Operating Rooms.

Digital Clock/Timers

PGL ’s Digital Clock/Timers use 2.7” digits that are nearly two inches taller and much wider than most competitive brands. Medical teams receive a clearer, faster visual readout, without causing eye strain or prolonged breaks in concentration.

Operating Room Stereo Compact Disc Systems

PGL offers a wide range of am/fm stereo cassette players, compact disc players, and disc changers with stainless steel faceplates, galvanized steel backboxes, low voltage power supplies and twin stereo speakers.

X-Ray Film Viewers

The Wafer-Lite is PGL ’s thinnest and most compact X-Ray Film Viewer. The full-width diffusion panel provides the maximum viewing surface and allows for a single, continuous viewing panel for as many as six side by side units.

Versa-Duct Surface-Mount Aluminum Raceways

The Versa-Duct Raceway offers a superior design to combine electrical, data and communication lines into one unified system. This versatile and functional raceway accommodates from the very basic wiring projects to the extremely complex telecommunications systems of today’s technology. Versa-Duct is factory pre-cut and pre-wired to specification, saving money and time by reducing on-site labor costs .

Power Poles

Versa-Duct Power Poles are as versatile as the raceway systems. There are limitless ways to configure the design utilizing standard raceway sizes. The Versa-Duct Power Poles can incorporate power receptacles, phone and data connections.

Power Pedestals

The PGL Power Pedestals are used in laboratories. They can be configured to supply power, phone, data and gas outlets to the workbench area. Custom designs are welcome.
