Accubid Releases Pocket WorkOrder™

Accubid is pleased to announce the release of Pocket WorkOrder™, a handheld solution for service contractors. With Pocket WorkOrder, service technicians can complete work orders and capture the client’s signature while still at the job site. They can record the material used, input the labor hours, general expenses and subcontract costs, and electronically record the client’s signature of approval. Service technicians can synchronize Pocket WorkOrder with Time & Material Billing— Accubid’s desktop solution for service management—either back at the office or remotely at their home office. They can download new work orders and upload completed ones. Back at the office, the service contractor can print or e-mail detailed professional reports and invoices.

Pocket WorkOrder runs on any portable device that uses Microsoft's Pocket PC 2002 or Windows Mobile 2003 operating system.

Bosch Power Band Auger Bits Put Power Where It Counts

Bosch introduces the new Bosch Type I Power Band Spur and Type II Power Band Ship Auger Bit line. The Bosch Power Band Tip focuses drilling power toward each bit’s super-sharp cutting edge.

The Bosch Type I Power Band Spur Auger Bit line ranges in size from 1/4, to 1-1/2” diameters and 7-1/2, 13 and 17” overall lengths. While both types of bits utilize their screw point tip to pull themselves into either soft or hard woods, the Bosch Spur Auger utilizes a cutting spur to cut clean, fast holes for applications unlikely to encounter nails or staples. Low-friction, solid center flutes with black-oxide coating reduces chip clogging and provides added rigidity.

The Bosch Type II Power Band Ship Augers include diameters ranging from 3/8 to 1-1/2” and overall lengths of 7-1/2, 17 and 24”. Bosch engineered this bit’s heavy duty cutting edge and self-feeding screw point of these new bits to cut right through such impediments in soft or hard wood.
