American Superconductor
American Superconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: AMSC) recently announced availability of an engineering and design kit to speed and simplify development of power conversion systems for new products or prototypes being developed by OEMs, VARs, system integrators and end-users. The PowerModule™ PM1000 Developers Kit (PDK) provides a platform for designers to quickly develop both the hardware and software elements of power conversion systems ranging from 60-225 kilowatts for a wide array of applications: AC-DC, DC-DC and DC-AC.
Kits are available for 480 VAC and 690 VAC applications, as well as for air-cooled or liquid-cooled applications. All PDKs contain the tools necessary to configure the PM1000 power converter with an application or product under development. A personal computer-based PowerModule-Graphical User Interface allows users to quickly and easily modify parameters of the system to meet specific power conversion requirements. Multiple PDKs may be combined to produce even higher power levels.

New EYE Lamp and Ballast Systems Update HID Lighting Systems Economically
EYE Lighting introduces its new HID Lamp and Ballast Kits to provide a convenient and economical way to update high intensity discharge (HID) lighting systems. The ballast kits are ideal for use by contractors or industrial users in warehouse, manufacturing, retail, parking, security and landscape applications. Typical uses include updating an existing lighting system for enery-savings, replacing failed lighting system components, and for retrofitting one lighting system to another without an expensive and time consuming fixture replacement. ICC Announces New 2GHz Video Splitter Modules 
ICC announces the addition of 2GHz video splitters modules to their residential structured wiring product line. ICC’s new 1x4, 1x6, and 1x8 2GHz splitters provide an excellent method of splitting incoming video signals from all HDTV, cable, satellite, UHF/VHF, or antenna systems. These wideband splitters operate between 5 MHz to 2 GHz and have no DC path. They have excellent signal quality in either digital or analog video modes. All three modules are mounted on angled brackets for improved video signal performance and better cable management.

ICC Announces Two New Enclosure Sizes for Residential Structured Wiring Systems
ICC’s new 14” and 21” CDC’s are a great addition to ICC’s family of distribution centers for residential structured wiring systems. The innovative design allows internal modules to be mounted vertically or horizontally, facilitating easier layout of the wiring system while providing for optimum cable management. Its integrated snap-in module system enables users to quickly insert or move the internal modules, saving time and effort. Ample knockouts for cable routing a knockout for standard NEMA electrical boxes, have been added in the top and bottom of the system to allow for easy routing of wiring and to provide power distribution within the system.
