MGE UPS SYSTEMS and Wright Line Form Strategic Partnership
Sales Alliance Gives End Users and Computer Resellers High Quality Rack Solutions with Built-in Power Protection for IT Network Applications

MGE UPS SYSTEMS INC. recently announced it has entered into a strategic alliance with Wright Line LLC, a Massachusetts-based manufacturer of consoles, electronic and server enclosures and furniture for data and network operation centers, 911/dispatch centers and control rooms. Through this new alliance, both MGE and Wright Line are able to provide customers with unsurpassed rack enclosures integrated with Uninterrupti grated network rack solutions.”

The integrated enclosure systems will be supported by Wright Line’s direct sales force of nearly 170 personnel together with MGE’s 140 direct and indirect sales professionals. “The strength of MGE’s and Wright Line’s combined sales forces will allow both companies to expand markets and give customers and resellers comprehensive rack and UPS solutions that will meet any network infrastructure application,” MGE’s Ray Prince added.

Forms Joint Venture With Rothenberger AG Aimed
at Increasing Presence in U.S. and Canada

Greenlee, a Textron company, recently announced the formation of a joint venture with leading plumbing tools manufacturer Rothenberger AG. The venture is aimed at further expanding the companies’ combined service and product offerings in the U.S. and Canadian professional plumbing products and pipe tools segments. Terms of the joint venture, which will sell products under the Rothenberger brand name and be headquartered in Rockford, IL, were not disclosed.

The new joint venture, Rothenberger LLC, will have exclusive rights to market the Rothenberger brand in the U.S. and Canada. “This joint venture was a natural match,” states Scott Hall, president of Greenlee. “Rothenberger, with its global product offering, truly complements Greenlee’s strong North American customer base in the electrical and plumbing tool segments.”

“Rothenberger will offer a complete range of high quality plumbing and pipe tools to the professional plumber. The plumbing industry now has a premium option,” adds Dr. Helmut Rothenberger, President of Rothenberger AG.

Carhartt Honors Industrial Sales Division Achievement

 On December 15 th of 2004, at Carhartt’s National Sales Meeting at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, MI, John Gould, Industrial Sales Representative for the Mid-West region was honored as the division’s sales representative of the year.

Carhartt’s Industrial Sales Division, was formed three years ago to serve the utility, electrical, and petroleum industries as well as general industry. The team of experienced safety representatives sells through distribution with a focus on flame-resistant clothing.
