Ruud Responds With 1000-Watt Area Light
In response to the increasing demand for a higher wattage area light, Ruud Lighting has created the AeroDome TM , a 1000-watt area light.
The AeroDome is available in a Type III, Type IV and Type V optic and meets IESNA Full Cutoff Classification. Its rugged one-piece, die-cast aluminum 25” wide by
14.5” deep housing accommodates 250- to 1000-watt PSMH, MH and HPS lamps. Mountings include Side-Arm or Round Tube Center Direct Post-Top. Multitest F
Amprobe, a business unit of SPX Corporation, has announced its new DM-III Multitest and DM-III Multitest F. Both models are feature-rich and support multiple electrical applications.
The DM-III Multitests incorporate advanced single and three phase Power Quality Recorder, Megohmmeter, Ground Resistance and Resistivity testers, and measure and record a broad spectrum of PQ parameters, including: AC Current, AC Voltage to 600V (including Sags and Surges), Harmonics (THD and individual up to 49 th), Active, Reactive and Apparent Power & Energy, Peak Demand, Power Factor, Frequency and Phase Sequence. The DM-III Multitest is supplied with standard 1000A current transducers, and the DM-III Multitest F with Flexible 3000A.
Both instruments feature a built-in advanced Megohmmeter with selectable 50,100, 250, 500 and 1000 testing voltages and a programmable timer to perform the dielectric absorption radio test. The Sensitive Ohmmeter allows technicians to check for resistance of motor windings, and selectable polarization of the ohmmeter allows for checking ground continuity. The Automatic Voltmeter protects against misuse on hazardous energized systems.
Additionally, both models perform advanced ground resistance and resistivity tests such as the 2 point continuity/resistance test, 3 point Fall of Potential test and 4 point Earth Resistivity measurement.
