Thomas & Betts’ E-Z-Code ® PC Label Software has simplified managing custom labels by enabling the operator to create and maintain custom labels on a PC and print them on a laser or dot-matrix printer. Among the software’s features are three levels of alphanumeric serialization and the ability to import data from Microsoft ® Excel ® spreadsheets, as well as pictures, logos and drawings. What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) technology ensures that what is displayed on the screen will be how the label appears when it is printed.
The software includes preloaded templates that match E-Z-Code ® Printable Markers, which enable the operator to keystroke or import information for custom labels that can be saved for future use. Upgrades can be easily downloaded for new templates and software.

Unifin Offers Cardinal Pumps for Demanding Transformer Oil 
Applications
Unifin offers its line of transformer oil pumps, manufactured under the company’s Cardinal brand.
Cardinal pumps are rated for continuous duty operating temperature ranges from –40ºF to 212ºF and have the capability to permit thermo-siphon flow when the pump is not operating, allowing natural convection even when the pump is completely shut off.
Rugged split casing design, with heavy-duty class 30 cast iron, is used for the pump casting, motor enclosures, impellers and volutes . Large thrust face sleeve bearings also extend life, minimize wear, and reduce maintenance. Cardinal offers three bearing types: standard sleeve bearing, the Harley™ sleeve bearing by Cardinal, and the Harley™ sleeve bearing with TecSonics™ bearing wear monitoring.
With no mechanical seals, repair and upkeep is reduced in utilizing two gasket seals on each pump. Cardinal pumps are durable and resilient as a result of a design that allows transformer oil to flow back through the motor and bearings, thereby providing cooling and lubrication.
All Cardinal pump and motor units are subjected to extensive testing, including pressure tests to 50 PSIG to ensure the integrity of the complete unit, and they are meggar tested to ensure the integrity of the insulation.

Extech Instruments announces its new 42515 Wide Range InfraRed Thermometer with Type K input. Storing up to 20 readings and capable of measuring both non-contact and contact temperature, the Wide-Range IR Thermometer is ideal for various industrial applications.
Extech’s 42515 IR Thermometer delivers a wide temperature range for InfraRed measurements from -58 to 1472°F as well as the Type K thermocouple measurements from -58 to 2498°F. Emissivity is manually adjustable from 0.1 to 1.00 and features automatic adjustment for temperatures of 212°F or higher. The 42515 also features a large, bright, backlit LCD display for easy-to-read measurements and programming parameters, such as highest, lowest, average and MAX minus MIN values. Also included is an adjustable high/low alarm to alert the user visually and audibly when temperature exceeds programmed limits.
The Wide-Range IR Thermometer is perfectly suited for measuring the surface temperature of objects that are difficult to reach or unsafe to touch. New Two-Compartment Floor Box for Concrete and Wood
