Sea Gull Lighting Earns Multiple Honors in TED Magazine’s Best of the Best Annual Marketing Awards Competition
Sea Gull Lighting Products, LLC , the
leading manufacturer of decorative and
functional lighting products, recently received
accolades from TED Magazine for
the “tasteful, informative and functional”
design of its company website as well as
the “colorful and attention-grabbing” layout
of its’ Bring It Home Magazine. These
honors were recently announced during the
NAED Annual Meeting in Washington,
D.C., which also served to highlight TED’s
2007 Best of the Best Annual Marketing
Awards Competition.

In 2006, Sea Gull Lighting completely
re-designed its company website to provide
homeowners, builders and design professionals
with a user-friendly, informational
and visual method for rapidly accessing details
about more than 3,500 company products
as well as the latest lighting trends. “We wanted to produce a site that was
filled with useful information, easy to navigate
and dramatically highlighted the benefits
of proper lighting design,” explains

Aaron Jagdfeld Named President of
Generac Power SystemsAaron Jagdfeld, Generac’s chief financial officer (CFO), has been named president
of the corporation as part of the management transition brought about by the sale of the company and the retirement of Robert D. Kern. Jagdfeld, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin — Whitewater, began his career as an auditor in the Milwaukee office of public accounting firm Deloitte & Touche. Aaron joined Generac in June of 1994 as a staff accountant and will continue to handle the responsibilities of CFO.
“This is a well-deserved recognition of Aaron’s abilities and his vision for Generac’s future,” says Dawn Tabat, chief operating officer. “He has been instrumental in the growth of the company and a strong member of our management team. Rich Promoted Director of Business Development
for Leviton’s Government Services Program
Leviton Manufacturing Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Chuck
Rich to the position of Business Development Director for its Government Business
Development Program. In his new post Rich will spearhead sales of the company’s
voice and data networking solutions to U.S. Government and military
installations. He will also oversee joint sales with the Government’s network of
certified contractors and system integrators. Rich brings to his new position more
than 17 years of experience assessing, specifying and recommending products and
solutions for military information and communication systems.
Rich began his career with Leviton in 2004 as National Business Development
Manager for Government Business, where he managed the sale of voice, data and
connectivity solutions. Prior to joining Leviton he served as a military communications
(MILCOM) systems advisor in end-user requirements and assessments for
Los Angeles’ Air Force Base and as Deputy Director for combat communications
for Atlanta’s Robins Air Force Base. Rich has held numerous positions in military
communications and has also held civilian positions with General Dynamics, Griffin Services, Urban Media Communications and MCS of Tampa where his responsibilities
included the sales and implementation of network, security and
communication systems.
Rich holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an
MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
