CL601 Clamp-On AC Logger

Hioki announces its new Phase Detector models 3129 and 3129-10 series. This new series offers the only CATIII 1000V CATIV 600V Non-Metallic Detectors on the market! In the past the conventional phase rotation detector required the technician to clamp onto exposed metallic parts of the conductor with metallic clips thus introducing the potential danger of electrical shock caused by the contact between two metal points. The 3129 series Non-Metallic clips ensure absolute safety by utilizing fully enclosed ABS molded clips with no metal exposure. Based on the electrostatic induction theory, the 3129 series Phase Detectors can safely and accurately detect rotation in three phase circuits. Correct rotation is indicated by a crystal clear beeping tune while bright red LEDs show the rotation direction. The 3129 series detectors can accommodate insulated wire diameters from 2.4 to 40mm and voltage ranges up to 1000V AC depending on the model selected.
